AC?DC the Belfast based 'DC tribute act will be playing the NC on Friday 19th Feb.

AC?DC are proud and pleased to return to the Nerve Centre, Derry to remember the life of the legendary singer Bon Scott on the 30th anniversary of his death on the 19th Feb 1980.

The band will be playing all the songs they know in a 2½ hour set. These will be fan favourites, band favourites and plenty of tunes from all the Bon Scott AC/DC albums, many that the real band haven’t played in years. There’ll be a couple of surprises too, but the band are planning an extra visual side to proceedings where they will show old photos of Bon and AC/DC during their early years while they play.

The show will include Angus’ striptease and the walk through the crowd during “Let There Be Rock” (as long as Big Eamonn is there).

The guitar player is Payola, other guitarist from No Grace Given, Bass player - lesshelp.

It is a bit quiet on the gig front lately. Jan and Feb are traditionally slow times, and with the current downturn in crowd sizes, there isn't a lot planned until March/April.

Ben, not too sure on the all ages thing. Will find out first thing tomorrow morning and post then.

i really enjoyed ac?dc last time, this sounds like a night not to b missed,and all bon scott material, grooovy!

A great night's craic again up in the NC. For me it was some buzz being able to pump some of my favourite tunes through the NC's full PA. Class. 'Bandwagon' were very good & went down very well I thought. I think a lot of people on this site will enjoy their Bluesy Rock & I'm not being patronising in commenting on how young they are. Excellent players & a highlight was singing along to 'Death to all but Metal' with the drummer after their set.

AC?DC played a cool mix of Clasics & album tracks. They had a great sound which filled the NC. Fair play to them & it's always brilliant to see the floor of the NC filled with Boogiers & Headbangers. A civil bunch of fellas as well & genuine 'DC fans.

Special mention to Paul Sayers & Mik O'Connell for helping me out & also once again giving the bands cracking sound. The NC in my opinion is the best gig in Norn Iron for its size. It looks & sounds fantastic & it's down to these 2 guys & the lovely lady working the lights.

All in all, a great night out.

What an excellent nite of DC tunes and a decent crowd in the Nerve thankfully. We were treated to non stop Bon classics until they returned for the encore and the singer had done a transformation into Brian Johnson. I don't know if anyone agrees but i thought he pinned down Johnson's vocal style much better than Scott's. The band were superb and it's the first time i've seen a 'Malcolm' using a Gretch for authenticity. 'Angus' was outstanding and sprinted round the stage all night, when he wasn't in position for the striptease. On the subject of the striptease it may have been more titillating to see 'Britney' the bass player getting them off instead. Definitely one of the worst wigs i've seen yet. Anyhoo a brilliant nite with a good showing of IAR heads. ROCK ON.

Hello Rockers, Many thanks for a great night on Friday. it was a great way to celebrate the music of Bon Scott. Wonderful venue, great crowd, and the sound was LOUD (thanks Paul & Mick). I thought Bandwagon were great (as always) and THANKS to Kellz for the tunes, craic and help.

We had an absolute ball and hopefully it won't be as long until we're back.

P.S. I'll pass on the 'Britney' comments, he will be pleased.
