VINNIE APPICE- BLACK SABBATH, DIO

Having thumped the tubs for some of the biggest names in rock, Vinny Appice will be well known to most of our readers. A player with an outstanding musical pedigree there are few drummers who can say the have equalled Vinny appice's output. Currently rocking with the Hollywood Allstars,(and this is allstar lineup). Vinny took time out from his busy schedule to answer a few questions for us here at www.imarocker.com.

Q. How are you, where are you?
I am very good. In LA

Q. What's currently happening in Vinny Appice's world?
I have been playing with The Hollywood Allstarz -Jimmy Bain on bass, Chas West (Bonham) vocs, Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot) Guits, Krigger drums. It's a fun project and we have been playing all over the US. I also have a new original band together with the same guys minus the other drummer Krigger. It's call 3 Legged Dogg. Cd due out toward end of 05.

Q.What has been the best concert by one of your peers you ever attended?
I would say Led Zep, in the early 70's, they just came over here from England and kicked entire ASS!

Q. Do you remember the first place/ time you stepped on stage to play? What happened?
It was at a school dance, I was playing there with my band and I was Nervous! I don't think I looked into the audience until the end.

Q. What performer are you in awe of? Why?
John Bonham, Eddie Van Halen, both ridiculous muscians who developed their own style and sound to the extreme.

Q. What would be the high point & low point of your career?
There were many highs, gettting my first platinum record, Playing Paranoid with the original Sabbath, looking in front and seeing Ozzy singing it was cool!!

Q. What is you favourite city/town to have a show in & Why?
I like em all!

Q. If you could do something else what would it be?
A computer nerd!
