STEVE LOMAX- TOKYO DRAGONS

Tokyo Dragons have been receiving some brilliant reviews in the last year, especially from Classic Rock magazine, rightly so in my view. Their debut album 'Give me the Fear' is a Hard Rockin' belter of an album that should keep any bedenimed Rocker happy for a long time. The band have built up a solid fan base on the back of incessant touring. Lead singer/Geetarist Steve Lomax takes some time from his busy schedule to answer Sav's 10 questions

1. How are you? Where are you?
At home , after four weeks of hittin the road .

2. What's currently happening in Tokyo Dragon’s world?
Just been touring the uk for three weeks then jetted off to New York . The next things on the dragons menu are a video shoot for next week and then a European tour with the mighty Nashville Pussy .

3. What has been the best concert by one of your peers you ever attended?
Err – Turbonegro at the Garage .

4. What was the first song you ever wrote/performed?
“Show me the way” by Peter Frampton ! Strange but true .

5. Do you remember the first place/ time you stepped on stage to play? What happened? The plough in Kenton , I was terrified and the mic stand kept falling apart ! A great start .

6. What performer are you in awe of? Why?
Oh loads of people ! Iggy Pop , Lemmy , Angus Young , Bon Scott , Kiss , Bonnie prince billy to name but a few .

7. What would be the high point & low point of your career?
Every tour is a highlight , getting recognition in general is always amazing ! Its all good ! There are no low points .

8. What is you favourite city/town to have a show in & Why?
Germany , so far ,cause the riders are massive ! and I mean MASSIVE !! We like playing anywhere that will have us !

9. If you could do something else what would it be?
Glass blower

10. What colour is the sky in your world?
Blue ! The sky is always Blue .
